2. Products and Services

Rung Leadership Development offers the following products and services:

The First Rung Program — Self-Study

A 12-module self-directed leadership development program. All modules, videos, workbooks, and materials are delivered in full upon enrollment. One-time purchase. Videos available for 6 months, all other materials are yours to keep permanently.

The First Rung Program — Community

Everything in Self-Study, plus access to a private peer community, monthly discussion prompts, accountability partner matching, and a monthly live group session with Alexandra. One-time purchase with 6 months of community access.

The First Rung Program — Intensive

Everything in Community, plus six monthly 1:1 coaching sessions with Alexandra, a personalized development plan, and between-session access via message. One-time purchase.

Alumni Community — Monthly Subscription

A private community for graduates of The First Rung program. Includes monthly discussion prompts from Alexandra, peer conversation, and future program topics included at no additional charge while subscribed. Billed monthly. Cancel any time.

Alumni Community + Monthly Coaching — Monthly Subscription

Everything in the Alumni Community, plus a monthly 1:1 coaching call with Alexandra, between-session access, and continued personalized development planning.  Billed monthly. Cancel any time.

3. Pricing and Payments

Self-Study	£498 / €576 / $699 — one-time payment or 3 installments
Community	£798 / €924 / $1,098 — one-time payment or 3 installments
Intensive	£1,995 / €2,295 / $2,799 — one-time payment or 3 installments
Alumni Community	£57 / €68 / $75 per month — cancel any time
Alumni Community + Coaching	£197 / €225 / $267 per month — cancel any time

By completing a purchase, you authorize Rung Leadership Development to charge the applicable amount to your chosen payment method. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.

Payment plans for the Self Study, Community and Intensive tiers are available in three equal monthly instalments at no additional cost. All installments must be completed. Failure to complete a payment plan does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid.

4. Access to Content

Program content

Upon successful payment, you will receive access to your purchased program content via our platform (Kajabi). Access is granted to you personally and is non-transferable.

For Self-Study, Community, and Intensive tiers: all module videos, workbooks, and materials are delivered in full upon enrollment. Video access for 6 months, and workbooks and other material are yours to keep permanently, regardless of any future changes to our platform or offerings.

Community and coaching access

Access to the community platform, live group sessions, and coaching calls is available for 6 months. For monthly subscription products, access continues while your subscription remains active.

Technical requirements

Access to program content requires a stable internet connection and a compatible device. Rung Leadership Development is not responsible for technical issues on your device or internet connection that prevent access to content.

5. Refund Policy

We want every participant to have a positive experience with The First Rung program. We do not offer automatic refunds, but we consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

How to request a refund

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase date, explaining your reason for requesting a refund. We will review each request individually and respond within 5 business days.

Factors we consider

→  Whether program content has been substantially accessed or downloaded

→  The nature of your concern or dissatisfaction

→  Whether you have contacted us with the issue before requesting a refund

→  Any extenuating personal circumstances

Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Important  ·  EU and UK consumers have statutory rights under consumer protection law, including a 14-day cooling-off period for digital content purchased online. These rights apply where the content has not yet been accessed. By accessing your program content immediately upon purchase, you acknowledge that the cooling-off period no longer applies. If you have not yet accessed your content, please contact us at [email protected] to exercise your statutory cancellation rights.

6. Cancellation of Subscriptions

You may cancel your Alumni Community or Alumni Community + Monthly Coaching subscription at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through your account settings on our platform.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the community and any associated benefits until that date. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

There is no minimum subscription period and no cancellation fee.

7. Intellectual Property

All content produced and delivered by Rung Leadership Development — including but not limited to module videos, workbooks, scenario documents, quick reference guides, frameworks, and written materials — is the intellectual property of Rung Leadership Development and is protected by copyright law.

What you may do

→  Access and use the content for your own personal leadership development

→  Complete and retain your workbooks for personal reference

→  Share insights and learnings from the program in professional conversations

What you may not do

→  Share, distribute, copy, or reproduce program content with any third party

→  Use program content for commercial purposes, including in training you deliver to others

→  Upload, post, or publish program content on any platform or social media channel

→  Remove or alter any copyright notices or branding from program materials

 A breach of these intellectual property terms may result in termination of your access without refund and may give rise to legal action.

8. Coaching Sessions

The following terms apply to 1:1 coaching sessions included in the Intensive tier and the Alumni Community + Monthly Coaching subscription:

→  Sessions are 45 minutes in duration and conducted via video call

→  Sessions must be scheduled in advance using the booking system provided

→  Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session

→  Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be forfeited for that month

→  Sessions that are not used within a calendar month do not roll over to the following month

→  Coaching provided is leadership development coaching only and does not constitute professional legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice

9. Community Standards

Access to the alumni community is subject to the following standards of conduct. By joining the community, you agree to:

→  Engage respectfully with all community members

→  Maintain the confidentiality of what others share within the community

→  Not share, screenshot, or distribute community content outside the platform

→  Not use the community for commercial promotion or solicitation

→  Not engage in discriminatory, harassing, or abusive behavior toward any member

 Rung Leadership Development reserves the right to remove any member from the community who breaches these standards, without refund.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The First Rung program and all associated content are provided for educational and developmental purposes only. Rung Leadership Development makes no guarantee of specific outcomes, results, or improvements in your leadership performance as a result of completing the program.

Results will vary depending on individual effort, application, circumstances, and other factors outside our control. Testimonials and examples shared on our website reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee of the same results for all participants.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rung Leadership Development shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the program or any associated content.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product or service.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Italy and the European Union, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive where applicable.

For customers based in the United Kingdom, your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected by these terms.

For customers based in the United States, these terms do not limit any rights you may have under applicable state or federal consumer protection law.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bolzano, South Tyrol, Italy, unless mandatory local consumer protection law requires otherwise.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where changes are significant, notify existing customers by email.

Your continued use of our products or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you may cancel your subscription or contact us to discuss your options.
